Paul, please explain the beach one (I've never seen the movie) and the Brokeback one (is the pill bottle supposed to be the joke?).
The beach one is from Planet of The Apes, when Heston finally discovers that he's actually on Earth, in the future. He sees the Statue of Liberty and realizes humans destroyed themselves with chagrin only Heston can muster.
And yes, since Ledger died from prescription drug overdose, the pills are the joke. I actually considered leaving this one out, but it DID make me laugh. I guess I suck.
